The
Department of Political Science, Fazl Ali College organised a National
Commission Women (NCW) initiated workshop under its “Second Innings Movement for Homemakers” on 30th of
August 2022 at the college conference hall. T.Arenla.Ao, YWCA Mokokchung spoke
on the topic “Work from Home opportunities” while Ochentsungba Ozukum, Information
Scientist shared on “Online business opportunities”. The other resource persons
in the workshop were Dr.Neizhanuo Golmei, Assistant Professor who shared on the
“What to expect in terms of working hour, salary, and how to manage time when
employed” along with Dr.Temjensangla Pongen, Assistant Professor FAC who spoke
on “Importance, identification of part-time courses”. The sessions were
intended to benefit homemakers so as to prepare them to enter into the market
workforce with business skills and knowledge.
